Advanced First Aid Course
The Advanced First Aid (WorkSafeBC Level 3 equivalent) course is a comprehensive 70-hour program designed for those who want to provide first aid in remote areas or industries with high-risk environments. This course prepares attendants to take full responsibility for injured workers until they reach medical treatment.

Course Prerequisites
- Minimum 16 years of age (participants under 19 require a signed parental consent form)
- Current, valid WorkSafeBC Occupational First Aid Level 1 certificate or equivalent
- Ability to perform all physical requirements of the course, including CPR and patient moving
- Strong command of the English language for both written and verbal components
- Successful completion of the required pre-course reading and assignment
Cancellation Policy
Participants should arrive 15 minutes early to fill out the required paperwork. Students arriving more than 10 minutes late for the course will not be able to join the class. A minimum of 1 week advance notice is required for change or cancellation. No-shows will not be eligible for refund.
Optional Pocket Mask
A high-quality CPR pocket mask is a recommended piece of equipment for your training. This reusable mask features a one-way valve to protect both you and the patient during practice. This is an optional add-on that you can pick up at our facility on the day of your course.
