Advanced First Aid Renewal Course
Designed for individuals who currently hold a valid WorkSafeBC Advanced First Aid (or equivalent) certificate. This 1-week renewal path allows workers to maintain their compliance and keep their life-saving skills current through intensive classroom and practical training.

Renewal Prerequisites
To ensure all participants meet the standards required for WorkSafeBC certification, the following prerequisites must be verified prior to the start of the renewal course.
Certification
A valid (not expired) WorkSafeBC Advanced First Aid (formerly OFA 3) certificate or recognized equivalent.
Identification
A valid government-issued photo ID must be presented on the first day of class.
Age Requirement
Minimum 16 years of age (participants under 19 require a signed parental consent form).
Physical Standard
Physical ability to perform first aid techniques as required by WorkSafeBC standards.
Cancellation Policy
Participants should arrive 15 minutes early to fill out the required paperwork. Students arriving more than 10 minutes late for the course will not be able to join the class. A minimum of 1 week advance notice is required for change or cancellation. No-shows will not be eligible for refund.
